1. Introduction
Welcome to ti84calculato.com (the "Site"). We provide a free online TI-84 calculator simulator and related calculator tools, plus educational guides for students, teachers, and professionals. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect when you use the Site, how we use that information, and what your rights are. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described below.
2. Information We Collect
We do not require you to create an account, sign in, or share any personal information to use our calculators. The calculators run entirely in your browser, and your equations, expressions, and calculation history are not sent to our servers. We do, however, collect a small amount of anonymous usage data through analytics tools — see Section 4 for details.
3. How We Use Information
The anonymous usage data we collect is used solely to:
- Understand which pages and tools are most useful, so we can improve them
- Diagnose technical issues such as broken pages, slow loading, or browser incompatibilities
- Measure overall traffic volume and trends
We never sell or share your data with marketers or third-party advertisers beyond the analytics services described below.
4. Cookies and Analytics
We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated information about visits to the Site — such as page views, country of origin (city level), browser, device type, and time spent. Google Analytics may set first-party cookies in your browser to recognize returning visitors. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
5. Third-Party Services
The Site embeds tools provided by third parties:
- TI-84 Online Simulator (loaded via iframe from a partner provider) — runs the calculator engine in your browser. No expressions you type are stored on our servers.
- Desmos Graphing Calculator API — used on our /graph.html page. Subject to Desmos's terms.
- Google Fonts — used to load the Inter typeface. Google may receive your IP address as part of this request.
6. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Our calculator is widely used by students under 13. We comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) by collecting no personal information from any user, regardless of age. We do not require an account, do not store user-generated content on our servers, and do not display behavioral or interest-based advertising. If you are a parent or teacher and you believe a child has somehow provided personal information through this Site, please contact us at contact@ti84calculato.com and we will investigate immediately.
7. Data Security
The Site is served exclusively over HTTPS, which encrypts all communication between your browser and our hosting provider. Because we do not store calculation data or personal information, the surface area for any breach is minimal. We follow industry best practices for the small amount of data we do retain (analytics aggregates).
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., the European Union under GDPR or California under CCPA), you have rights to access, delete, or restrict processing of personal data we hold about you. Because we do not collect personal data tied to identifiable individuals, in most cases there is nothing for us to retrieve or delete. If you have questions about your rights, contact us at contact@ti84calculato.com.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
10. Contact Us
If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or our practices, please email contact@ti84calculato.com. We respond to all inquiries within 5 business days.
